This event is full — please check out our other events or email Alex if you would like to join the waitlist at AlexanderH@re-sources.org

Have you ever wondered if there are alternatives to clearcut logging? Can our forests produce wood products while still fostering biodiversity, forest health, and climate resilience? Join local forest policy expert Alexander Harris (RE Sources) on a hike through managed timberlands and mature forests to learn about the promises and challenges of “ecological forest management” – a new approach that balances the economic, ecological, and cultural benefits that our forests can provide. Getting boots in the woods is the best way to understand the nuances of forest management on state public lands and the many tradeoffs with every management regime.

RSVP Required. Limited to 15 participants.
