Beach cleanup for Make A Difference Day

Join RE Sources, Surfrider Foundation, and the Community Boating Center for a beach cleanup this World Make a Difference Day! Volunteers will be divided up into groups to clean nearby pocket beaches, the nearby wetlands and Padden Creek.
We will gather at the Community Boating Center (555 Harris Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225), then folks can grab some cleanup gear and head out to nearby locations. We require masks to be worn wherever volunteers cannot safely social distance – even outside – in order to reduce potential transmission of the virus.
Participants must dress for the weather and expect to get a little wet. We are asking everyone to limit their personal belongings and if driving to the site to keep belongings in your car. A safety overview will be delivered before heading out, including new COVID-19 protocols.
