Harris Avenue Shipyard has been a busy site along a working waterway for over 100 years — but it’s still contaminated from past industrial uses like metals and petroleum products, and is currently in the process of being cleaned up.

Your input can help shape the future of this piece of our waterfront! The Department of Ecology wants your input on the cleanup process. RE Sources has created this virtual tour to help you better understand this site along with the cleanup process so that you can play an active role in how it is cleaned up.

There are 6 tour stops located across the site. Click on each red icon to open a video that describes an important aspect of the site, and then click on the photo to start the video for each stop. The first stop will give you an overview of the tour and help you navigate the rest of the tour.

See the Department of Ecology’s website for more information on the Harris Ave. Shipyard toxic cleanup site.
