The Hidden Life of Trees film screening for Bellingham’s ALL IN for Climate Action Week
September 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm$5
Bellingham’s ALL in for Climate Action Week presents The Hidden Life of Trees, a film screening and benefit for Whatcom Million Trees Project. Based on his bestselling book “The Hidden Life of Trees,” renowned forester and writer Peter Wohlleben guides viewers through his enlightened ecological insights with matter-of-fact candor — so everyone can see the forest for the trees. A walk in the forest will never be the same again! See a trailer.
In-person showings at the Pickford will be on Wednesday, September 22 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, September 25 at 12 p.m. Each in-person showing will be followed with a Q&A session with the WMTP Executive Director Michael Feerer and Board member David Roberts.
Virtual streaming at home will also be available for those who do not wish to attend the showing in person. The link sent to purchasers will be active for viewing the film anytime from September 20-26, giving people flexibility when to watch. Details about the livestream option will be available soon.
Tickets are $5. All proceeds support Whatcom Million Trees Project, whose mission is to plant and protect one million trees in Whatcom County over the next five years as a climate crisis response and to enhance the well-being of local communities. Purchase tickets here.
PROOF OF VACCINATION IS REQUIRED UPON ENTRY. Masks are required and seating will max out at half-capacity. Review Pickford’s full, recently-adopted policy.
