Photography for beginners: Science and nature shots

FreeCome learn the basics of photography for outdoor and scientific use! No experience required; we ask that you come with your own camera (a smartphone is fine) so we can get outside and test out what you learned. Led by RE Sources communications manager Simon.
Meet on Tuesday, August 16th, 5:30-7:00 pm. at The RE Sources office (above The RE Store, 2309 Meridian St, Bellingham)
The last ~30 minutes will be time to practice. Submit your photos after the workshop and have the chance for a photo featured in our newsletter!
We’ll go over:
- Basic camera settings, what they mean, and how to use them
- Using a smartphone for photography
- Best practices for scientific, species ID and quality control shots
