You’re Invited!
Join us for an intimate party at the lovely Chuckanut Point home of Valerie Davies on Wednesday, May 25th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
Please Note: We are very close to reaching capacity for this small yet powerful gathering, so please reach out to Julia Spencer today if you’d like to attend. We will follow up about remaining availability and provide directions and event details.
Enjoy appetizers and beverages while mingling with guests and RE Sources’ staff on the patio, then we’ll dive into a short update on our Salish Sea protection work. Please come prepared to make a gift that’s meaningful to you (which will be doubled by matching funds!) and help us raise $10,000 or more at the party.
You’ll get a sneak peek into our efforts to put a check on risky fossil fuel expansions in the region, watchdog and act on pollution in Bellingham Bay and beyond, and build climate resilience into regional policies that will help keep people and ecosystems healthy amidst a changing climate. All of this vital work is 100% possible when we come together to support a healthy Salish Sea.
We are planning for an outdoor event with COVID safety in mind. We ask that guests be vaccinated to attend and welcome mask-wearing.
Evening Schedule:
- 5:00pm – Shuttles begin (2 min ride, masks encouraged)
- 5:30pm – Drinks, appetizers, and mingling on the patio
- 6:00pm – Salish Sea Protection Briefing
- 6:30pm – Opportunity to Give
- 7:30pm – Party ends, enjoy the after-glow at home 🙂
Arrival Time and Shuttle:
Arrive between 5pm-5:30pm to catch the shuttle to Val’s home on Chuckanut Point. Bellaire Charters will provide a 20-person shuttle bus that will operate continuously throughout the evening and masks are encouraged when riding the shuttle.
Contact Julia Spencer, Director of Donor Engagement, with any questions: JuliaS@re-sources.org or 360-510-9329.
If you can’t make it to this event, you can still support a healthy Salish Sea by making a generous gift today. Your contribution now will be matched for twice the impact. Thank you!
