Beach cleanup for World Water Day

Wednesday, March 22nd from 10am–12pm at I & J Waterway (parking lot near 1000 Hilton Ave, Bellingham)
Grab a trash grabber and meet us at the beach! To combat plastic pollution in the Salish Sea, RE Sources hosts beach cleanups — as well as cleanups along rivers and lakes — throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties, providing cleanup equipment and a place to connect with like-minded community members. Fresh bagels provided by The Bagelry!
Together, we regularly stop hundreds of pounds of trash from ending up in the Salish Sea in a single cleanup!
World Water Day has been every year on March 22nd every year since 1993, celebrating water and raising awareness of the 2 billion people living without access to safe water.
*Note: This cleanup does not have an on-site restroom. Please be prepared for a short walk.*
