This place is a gift. Giving Tuesday (11/28) is a great day to give back.

This Giving Tuesday, RE Sources raised $10,659 to fund critical regional advocacy, science and education efforts. Thank you!
November 9, 2023

Update: Our community helped us beat our goal and raise $10,659. With gifts matched by a generous donor, that means your impacts has been doubled to over $20,000! We can’t thank you enough — it means the world to us that you support this work.

From timberlines to shorelines, Northwest Washington is a remarkable place. The health of our watersheds, forests, rivers, farms, cities, beaches and seas reflect the health of our communities. That’s why RE Sources works across these Northwest Washington landscapes to advocate and educate for environmental protections and climate action.

Join us online Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving when people counter the hyper-consumerism and waste of Black Friday and Cyber Monday by investing in worthy causes that make their communities better places to live. This year, we’re celebrating the gifts the this region bestows on us, from tree to sea. Throughout the day we’ll highlight ways in which your support of RE Sources drives lasting protections for our lands, waters climate and communities.

We hope you’ll be inspired to show the place you call home so love. Make a gift toward our $10,000 Giving Tuesday fundraising goal and have your gift matched dollar for dollar. In addition, your gift of any amount will automatically enter you in a drawing to win some top-notch Patagonia gear* (generously donated by our friends at Patagonia Seattle) for your next Northwest Washington adventure.

Making a Giving Tuesday gift to RE Sources won’t just feel good, it will directly support our regional work to protect the place you know and love, from the snows of Shuksan to the Salish Sea and everywhere in between. RE Sources’ work is rooted in place. We have the experience, expertise and deep relationships to bring about lasting protections for our mature forests, our waterways and our shorelines. We can equip teachers and students with the tools and actions necessary to turn climate anxiety into practical hope. We can slash pollution and waste while supporting a just transition to clean energy. But we can’t do any of this without your support.

Your gift to RE Sources is an investment in a healthy, climate-resilient future for the environment in Northwest Washington and in the communities who depend on it. And now through Giving Tuesday, your gift will go twice as far.

PS: RE Sources proudly offers all of its tools, trainings, workshops and events free of charge to ensure they’re accessible to everyone. That’s only possible through the support of community members like you. Thank you for giving what you can.
