Ask the city of bellingham to stop burning toxic sewage
We’re urging the City to stop a $60 million plan to upgrade 33- and 53-year-old sewage incinerators at Post Point and pursue a safer, smarter alternative. Continuing to invest in outdated equipment means more pollution, higher costs, and missed climate goals. Sign the petition below to add your voice!
HAVING YOUR VOICE HEARD IN THE STATE LEGISLATURE, MADE EASY! SIGN UP FOR LEGISLATIVE UPDATES
About once per week during the legislative session each year (January through April), we send out a quick email update what’s happening with key environmental bills, plus quick actions you can take to push urgent policies make it across the finish line. State laws can make a big difference in your community, while also setting examples for more states to follow. With federal threats to the climate and clean water from the Trump administration, state action matters even more. The legislative session begins January 12, 2026!

Attend a beach cleanup
To combat plastic pollution in the Salish Sea, RE Sources regularly hosts beach cleanups — as well as cleanups along rivers and lakes — throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties, providing cleanup equipment and a place to connect with like-minded community members.
