Youth-led workshop: Writing letters to local governments in support of forests
November 21 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Join our Youth for the Environment & People (YEP!) high school students for an evening of writing letters to the Whatcom County Council! We’re seeking community members to join them in advocating for mature forests and decoupling school funding from logging.
No experience sending comments to elected officials needed! These stellar students will show you what makes a compelling letter — how to combine facts with your personal connection to an issue to create great public input!
