Beach cleanup @ Locust Beach (Int’l Coastal Cleanup day!)

Since the annual International Coastal Cleanup began over 30 years ago, more than 17 million volunteers have collected more than 348 million pounds of trash. Be part of this awesome legacy!
Join us for a cleanup on Saturday, September 16th 12:00–2:00pm at Locust Beach (3199 Locust Ave, Bellingham)
Bagels will be provided by The Bagelry! We provide cleanup supplies, on a first come first serve basis. Dress for the weather.
To combat plastic pollution in the Salish Sea, we host beach cleanups — as well as cleanups along rivers and lakes — throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties, providing cleanup equipment and a place to connect with like-minded community members. We’re partnering with Ocean Conservancy for this annual cleanup.
RSVP not required, but helps us get an idea of how many people to expect. Thank you for keeping waterways clean!
