Sustainable Schools curriculum has moved online during COVID-19 school closures. Lessons are for learners of all ages! | April 15, 2020

Check it out!
Get to know the natural world, experiment with some do-it-yourself projects at home, and have fun learning online!

During school closures and stay-at-home orders, we’ve transformed our curriculum so kids (and their parents, if they want) can enjoy learning from home! We’re offering fun, interactive lessons each week about place-based, environmentally-relevant topics like the water cycle, stormwater, waste management, upcycling, and more!

Lessons are fun for learners of all ages K – 12, and can take anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours each, depending on how deep you want to go. Each lesson includes a little history, an in-depth look at a specific environmental issue, hands-on projects you can do at home to deepen your understanding (or just have fun), and ways you can take action to benefit your community! You don’t have to follow lessons in any order — follow your curiosity and dive right in!
