San Juan County Agricultural Plastics Recycling
Agricultural plastic recycling opportunities are not yet developed in San Juan County. Large generators need to ferry their plastics to the mainland and drive to Skagit River Steel for processing. Occasional collection events for nursery plastics, bale wrap and twine are provided by San Juan Public Works with help from RE Sources and WSU San Juan Extension.
