Special Events

Island County Beach Watchers and “Waste Wise” volunteers host nursery pot collection events every few months at the Camano Island and Coupeville transfer stations.  In October 2007, approximately 2,500 pounds of nursery containers and trays were recycled:  Many others were taken for reuse.  Dates have not yet been set for 2008 collection events.
