The Program Director is responsible for the operational success of these programs by ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, financial stability, quality control, and evaluation. AmeriCorps Aquatic Reserves Monitoring and Stewardship Assistant

RE Sources for Sustainable Communities is seeking an AmeriCorps Aquatic Reserves Monitoring and Stewardship Assistant to join our Clean Water team and provide support for the Cherry Point (Whatcom County) and Fidalgo Bay (Skagit County) Aquatic Reserve Citizen Stewardship Committees. These two citizen committees help ensure that management actions for their local Aquatic Reserves are implemented in conjunction with Washington State Department of Natural Resources objectives. Job duties include attending monthly stewardship committee meetings; supporting public outreach and education efforts for the Aquatic Reserves; and conducting citizen science monitoring. This is a full-time, temporary AmeriCorps position. The position is 40 hours per week from February 16 to August 15, 2017. AmeriCorps provides a benefit and compensation package to all members.
